It’s been a VERY busy week.
First off, I want to say a very big thank you to everyone who helped us clear out our old fabrics last week.
We still have some Free For Shipping pads up for grabs, one Hyenacart dollar acution for two pads, and THREE hyeancart dollar auctions for our Ultimate Not So Flat Wraps! If you haven’t entered the drawings, be sure to do so asap! They end tomorrow at 7:50, just before our new stock goes live.
At first, the plan was to have a weekend sale. Then, the children went away for the weekend to the grandparents, and I found MORE unfinished old stock then I originally thought we had, so I figured when the kids are away, mama shall… “work”. ha ha!
I got in a little over my head though, and spent much more time sewing then I expected. We also had a few oversells, but we’ve got that straightened out (just waiting to hear back from one last customer! If you read this, please email me asap!) and then all clearance sale items will have been shipped out. The last of them should be going out tomorrow!
The clearance sale idea came up because I finally got tired of missing my personal fabric stash and asked dear hubby and son to help me move it from storage, to the cabin (the biz workspace). They brought our bedroom wardrobe, which does not fit in our bedroom, to the cabin and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to fit almost my entire personal stash in there! Yay!
It’s now finally safely near me, waiting to be used, one piece at a time.
In the meantime though, the boxes and boxes and rearranging of things created more clutter, and some clutter (read: old stock fabrics and cuts) just had to find new homes. So you all really helped me out. 🙂 I’m glad to see everything will be well loved and used and it was fun to share the clearance items at a good deal for those who need to add to their stash!
To add to the busyness of this week, it’s our twins birthday tomorrow! We celebrated today. Dear hubby took all the children swimming at a wave pool in the next city over, and I remained behind with the excuse that I had to stock the shop for tomorrow.
This was true, but I was really staying behind to decorate for a surprise ‘party’. lol It was just our family, but the girls were excited, and surprised, just the same. 🙂
These two are such a blessing! Well, all five children are of course. 😉
Enough about that, back to business!
We’ve got new stock!
Lots of variety of sizes in our newest colorways. Autumn Splendor, Verdigris, Borealis and “Shay”.
Here’s a small sampling, you’ll have to check the store for the rest: www.hyenacart.com/homesteademporium
And last but certainly not least, I thought I’d share a few custom orders from this past while.
Postpartum/heavy overnight set:
Some teeny ultimates:
A stash for a mama who prefers our shorter pads, including our tiny short wrap wing pads, just 6 inches!
Another variety stash:
And two dark Ultimate Pads.
The variety we get in our custom orders always reminds me of just how very unique each and every one of our customers are! I love it! 🙂
Thanks for looking/reading. We hope to see you at the shop tomorrow evening, at 8pm EST/5pm PST! 🙂
PS. If you are pregnant, and hoping to put in a custom order for postpartum, we are accepting custom orders for women due after February 1st at this time. We will be taking a break from custom orders over the holiday’s, so if you’re in need of a custom order after the new year, please email us to put your order in asap!
