How blessed I am because our family is very\u00a0close knit.<\/strong><\/p>\n This hasn’t come easy though. Our family was not just ‘born this way’.<\/p>\n We’ve had to work at it.<\/p>\n We’ve had to work VERY HARD at it, through blood, sweat and tears.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n A lot of people may wonder why we keep going after this dream of ours, after so many years of work, fixing up our hobby farm, and now trying to sell it, just to sit here and wait, and wait, and wait, over and over and OVER<\/strong><\/em> again<\/span>.<\/p>\n So why?<\/p>\n Why do we continue to do it, to wait, and hope, and keep working towards this dream?<\/p>\n Because<\/strong><\/span> we’ve had to work HARD at it, through blood, sweat and tears.<\/p>\n It’s BECAUSE<\/strong><\/em> of the hard work, the blood, sweat and tears, that our family is so close, so strong.<\/p>\n Some may think we’re foolish, naive, to carry on like this, waiting, over and over again.<\/p>\n However, they don’t see.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n They don’t see the strength, the love, and the bonds that have been created through this journey. This journey that our family has chosen to take, TOGETHER.<\/p>\n And isn’t that really what life is really<\/strong><\/em> all about?<\/p>\n Even if we never see our dreams, our goals, come to fruition.<\/p>\n Even if we never step foot on our ‘dreamland’ as our own land, we have accomplished SO MUCH MORE then so many could ever hope for.<\/p>\n When, and why, did life become about being ‘easy’ anyways?\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n My husband and I, we started out as two people, searching for a better life over twenty years ago.<\/p>\n I was 19, he was 24. We were young, but ready to take on the world.<\/p>\n We started out with nothing, but each other, and our hopes and dreams.<\/p>\n Our first 6 or 7 years of marriage were ROUGH.<\/p>\n VERY rough.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n We were NOT close.<\/p>\n But,<\/strong><\/em> we were determined. We remain determined!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n And for that reason, and that reason alone, even though on this very day I really feel like giving up and saying “screw it all, it’d be so much easier to just give up after all this TIME and waiting!”<\/p>\n I won’t do it.<\/p>\n I will continue.<\/p>\n Our family will continue.<\/em><\/p>\n We won’t give up!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n We’ll continue down this path, together!<\/p>\n Because in the end, it will all be worth it.<\/p>\n Even if we don’t reach our goals, our dream of a ‘real’ farm, we have reached an even better goal.<\/p>\n The ultimate goal of a REAL<\/span> family.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This Mother’s Day, more then ever before, I was faced with just how truly blessed I really am.
