I’m actually going to extend the contest because I have a post I wanted to put up a few days ago already but I’ve been having one heck of a time getting my computer to co-operate with my photo uploader to upload the photos to the net! I didn’t realize I had to ‘unzip’ them. hee hee<\/p>\n

Either that or I should say<\/strong><\/em> my brain wasn’t co-operating.<\/p>\n

But it doesn’t matter now, I finally have the photos uploaded and ready to share!<\/p>\n

A Homestead Emporium customer took the\u00a0challenge\u00a0to heart and shared her photo session with me. I loved it so much I asked for her permission to share with all of you! I’m going to share her thoughts, and her photos, as she braved the challenge and played with her camera!<\/p>\n

Hi Pietra,<\/p>\n

I sent you some photographs that I took for fun today as part of your challenge. Probably should’ve had a bath and put some make up on, but then, oh well.<\/p>\n

It started off kind of awkward and you really don’t know what to do with yourself. You have to be your own motivator and that is a good thing.\u00a0 The photos were sent through Yousendit.com. I wanted to create a story\/thought process. I did not have any software to do other fun stuff.<\/p>\n

Thanks for this. I am still at home recovering from a Hernia and it was a chance to get up and have some fun. As you can probably tell, I seem to be holding up much better.

The captions for each photo are Daien’s own words and do a wonderful job in telling the story of her own self portrait photoshoot experience. Personally, I say Daien certainly doesn’t need a bath, or make up! She’s beautiful just the way she is! Now that’s natural beauty!<\/p>\n
