Yesterday I turned 41.
\nOn my birthday card from Julia, she said I only look 34. lol
\nOn my card from Elsa, she said in 9 years I’ll be 50! lol
\nYou need to understand Elsa’s asperger’s sense of humor to know the true\u00a0hilarity\u00a0of that remark.<\/p>\n

In all truth, age doesn’t bother me too much. It is what it is, and that’s it. Not much we can do about getting older, but to try our best to do what we can to stay healthy within our\u00a0chosen\u00a0life style.<\/p>\n

Rather then being concerned with my age, I’m more concerned about not having regrets in life. Being the best person (in every day life, and in business), the best wife, and the best mother I can possibly be.<\/p>\n

How old I am while doing that, doesn’t concern me too much. \ud83d\ude42
\nI also feel I’m doing well, and am VERY blessed, so I have no complaints.
\nWell, except maybe my continual complaint about living apart from dear hubby… lol \u00a0but that’s\u00a0understandable. \u00a0And even with that, I see reasons for it all and have faith it will work out in the end.<\/p>\n

But to be 41 years old, with almost 22 years of marriage under my belt, five great kids, to own a very successful business which I started from scratch without incurring much debt at all, to be doing what I love not just in work, but also homeschooling my children and being at home with them, is worth everything to me. And our lives may be difficult right now, during this season of our family being apart, and financially with that added cost\/stress, BUT, it’s all good. And for that, I am forever grateful!<\/p>\n

So happy 41st birthday to me, and may there be many many more birthdays, and many many more Happy Birthday posts in the future here on the Homestead Emporium blog!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
