I asked if anyone would like to join me. Some did, hopefully more still will!<\/p>\n<p>So far we&#8217;ve walked outside for 30 mins every day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-150816.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-150816.jpg\" alt=\"20130104-150816.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>First day we walked the field, next day to the lake down the road and hubby joined us.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-150953.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-150953.jpg\" alt=\"20130104-150953.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday we started down the road towards the lake and soon turned around to the shelter of our treed yard. It was <em>WINDY!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-151220.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-151220.jpg\" alt=\"20130104-151220.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today however, we opted out of a walk in favour of something more glamorous. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152040.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152040.jpg\" alt=\"20130104-152040.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We scooped &#8216;poopsicles&#8217; instead. I think the hour and a half of poopsicle scooping we did was probably the equivalent to a few hours of walking! Phew!<\/p>\n<p>Farm kids work hard, and no, it&#8217;s actually not glamorous, but it comes with benefits of extra fun!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152147.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152147.jpg\" alt=\"20130104-152147.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lots of extra fun!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152440.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152440.jpg\" alt=\"20130104-152440.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And when we were all done, the horses were thankful.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152604.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/20130104-152604.jpg\" alt=\"20130104-152604.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And we went in for some well deserved hot chocolate!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Jan. 1st I shared on Facebook that I was going to start walking, outside, every day!
