Every time we&#8217;ve gone by this house I&#8217;ve always gone gaga over the neighbours flower garden. Dahlias, dahlias and more dahlias EVERY where.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.smugmug.com\/photos\/1038332135_QyqXX-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As we were pulling away from the home in which my husband stopped into, we noticed the neighbour was out and about so I opened my window and mentioned his flowers were looking fantastic! It&#8217;s October and his garden is STILL full! Simply beautiful! He asked if I&#8217;d like to take some cut flowers home with me. I dared to reply that I happened to have my camera with me and would he mind if I took some photos as well. He said sure! What a delight that was!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.smugmug.com\/photos\/1045180103_c8qf4-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This neighbour is a retired dr and now he raises all these dahlias and takes them to shows.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.smugmug.com\/photos\/1045181605_w5cW5-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He grows ONE HUNDRED varieties of dahlias! I&#8217;m quite sure we heard that right. Although it&#8217;s just amazing to consider!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.smugmug.com\/photos\/1045183262_f6gF3-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I think I&#8217;m going to put the following photo in my studio since I&#8217;m going with reds and blues.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.smugmug.com\/photos\/1045184762_th3tH-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also getting a lot of dyeing inspiration from some of these!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/homesteademporium.smugmug.com\/photos\/1045186738_h86wJ-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Just gorgeous! I absolutely LOVE the unique details of flowers. No two are alike!
