I’m actually going to extend the contest because I have a post I wanted to put up a few days ago already but I’ve been having one heck of a time getting my computer to co-operate with my photo uploader to upload the photos to the net! I didn’t realize I had to ‘unzip’ them. hee hee

Either that or I should say my brain wasn’t co-operating.

But it doesn’t matter now, I finally have the photos uploaded and ready to share!

A Homestead Emporium customer took the challenge to heart and shared her photo session with me. I loved it so much I asked for her permission to share with all of you! I’m going to share her thoughts, and her photos, as she braved the challenge and played with her camera!

Hi Pietra,

I sent you some photographs that I took for fun today as part of your challenge. Probably should’ve had a bath and put some make up on, but then, oh well.

It started off kind of awkward and you really don’t know what to do with yourself. You have to be your own motivator and that is a good thing.  The photos were sent through Yousendit.com. I wanted to create a story/thought process. I did not have any software to do other fun stuff.

Thanks for this. I am still at home recovering from a Hernia and it was a chance to get up and have some fun. As you can probably tell, I seem to be holding up much better.

The captions for each photo are Daien’s own words and do a wonderful job in telling the story of her own self portrait photoshoot experience. Personally, I say Daien certainly doesn’t need a bath, or make up! She’s beautiful just the way she is! Now that’s natural beauty!
