There’s no contest. No cat I’ve ever had will sit where I want it to, stay as long as I want it to, and get all excited, wag it’s tail and give me kisses every time I step away for five minutes and come back again.

If I were to let my cat up while I type, forget about my lap, she’d want to sit right on the top of the entire keyboard. There’s no way she’d lay nicely on my lap while I work on the keyboard.
A quick browse for the name “Patches” (our house cat’s name) through my photo gallery on flickr reminds me of how true that really is!

My husband, he has more patience then I, apparently.
Of course, he doesn’t do a whole lot of typing either…
And who, tell me WHO, could resist these absolutely adoring puppy dog eyes and not feel their heart melt at least a little bit?

I love both cats and dogs. It is easier to have a cat in my little place though. I have a cat and have had cats that spent hours on my lap, greet me outside when I come home, chase me around the house and beg me to chase back. Though I don’t do this very often, if I say sit, he sits. You are right though; that is one irresistible puppy… or is it an ewok?
Your new puppy is really cute! Just curious what breed is he? He looks tiny, how big will he get?
Audrey, he’s a longcoat chihuahua but he’s a real runt and the breeder thinks he may not make it over 3 pounds. 🙂 He’s a tiny thing!
