Memories of Christmases past. Our first child’s first Christmas, celebrated in 1991

Christmas wishes from Nanny and Grandpa, 2010

I think someone forgot something under the tree, arf.

Christmas village given quite a few years ago by one of my older sisters

Slightly fat cat… she’s 12. She’s seen all this many times.

Ornament given to one of the younger girls years ago by their Oma

Teagan’s first Christmas

Nanny and Grandpa spoiled the kids with a wii. Don’t have to guess too hard to figure out what they are playing…

The top of my husbands Christmas wish list this year. Grandmother’s crabapple jelly cookies. He had not had them since before she died at 92 years of age, over 16 years ago. She was a wonderful woman, strong in character and faith.

I was ‘scared’ to make these in fear I’d ruin the memory for him forever. He says they taste just like hers.

One of the biggest hits, a “movie night” gift package from us.

A movie, and lots of junk food. Look at those happy faces…
