We’re back to square one when looking for our ‘dream’ property.
We found out some things about the former property we were interested in, the almost 700 acre property.
I won’t bother going into a bunch of details about everything, but suffice to say, we’re back to square one with our search!
At first when things like this happen, it’s disheartening and frustrating. But then when you realize you could have been stuck with a ‘mistake’, you breathe a sigh of relief and carry on.
We have to trust that when the timing is right, everything will fall into place, and we WILL indeed find our ‘dream’ home/property!
As for today, the animals are fed, homemade chicken & wild rice soup made with home grown chicken stock is in the crock pot, the girls and I are about to do some fabric dyeing, later we’ll be shipping packages, and all is still fine in our world.
One day at a time.
And some days, one small step at a time.
I’m sorry to hear that things didn’t work out… but isn’t it a huge sigh of relief to know that they didn’t work out for a reason? Hang in there, things will happen when they are meant to.
This just means that there’s a better, truer (is that a word?) dream property out there for you family!
Whatever the reason(s) were, I’m glad you found out now rather than later. Yes indeed, things will fall into place in His perfect timing. No amount of worrying, wishing or fretting will change that. Better to rest in His Will. Easier said than done I know…
I know how you feel, but trust in the Lord. Recently we got to see the fruit of him denying us a home last fall. Our town was recently hit with a tornado and the property we were looking at had 4 trees on the house at the end of the storm. The people who did buy it were all safe. My husband also lost his job in January so another blessing that we never did find our dream home. Keep your chin up, all in Gods time. (I know that can be easier said than done ;-))
Aw, what a bummer. I understand the positive spin of narrowly missing making a huge mistake—but still such a let down. 🙁 I know it’s hard sometimes, but keep the faith that the Lord will lead you to the right time and place.

You’re right Tamara, no sense worrying. I always tell the kids if Jesus Himself said not to worry, who are we to argue with Him? lol
