Yes, I have a diaper stash, I admitted sheepishly on facebook. Hee hee.
Why sheepishly?
My youngest children will be 12 in December. My eldest is 20. I don’t have any need for diapers, however, over the past many years there is the occasional time that I can not resist adding a diaper here or there.
Some I’ve obtained because I’ve traded with other wahm’s, some I purchased through charity auctions I felt were far too low and needed some extra bids, and a few I’ve simply bought, just because.
It’s not a huge stash, but it’s certainly more then I “should” have. However, I have no fear that it will ever go to ‘waste’!
That’s the joy of cloth!

Who wants to play, “Guess The Diaper?” Give me your best guess on some of these! Some have the cards or names visible, but others don’t, so tell me what you think!
I KNOW I have a few more somewhere, but I could not find them, so this will have to do. We have so much of our lives packed up, actually these were packed up too, but the box was in my closet so I simply unpacked them to snap photos. lol
And I snapped a photo of something I thought you all might think is cute, a blanket I made for Shaylah’s doll a few years ago for Christmas. 2008 actually, I even put the date on it. I made each of the girls one of these in fabrics they liked best, but Shaylah’s is the only one that’s unpacked because she loves ALL her blankies, even at 11 years of age. Ha!

But I can’t blame her, even I still think they are super cute! And what mother who buys diapers, who has no babies, is going to tell her 11 year old daughter that she’s too old for duckies!

wow you are an amazing momma! I have to say that I would love a hobby farm someday and I would love to be out in a not so “city” area where having Chickens doesn’t black list you as a nut! haha (everyone I know thinks I am nuts for wanting chickens) but then again what self proclaimed crunchy momma wouldn’t. I agree don’t tell her there is an age expiration on ducks… my mom just bought “gender neutral” stuff for the baby in my belly since we don’t know what it is, and it’s all duckies. I def. stopped to oooo and awww at it! I can’t wait till my kids wanna use cloth but at 2 and 4 it will we a LONG while!

I think I spy an Elbee, some assorted Goodmama, a bumgenius, Bagshot Row Bamboo, Muttaqin and perhaps Holden’s Landing? 😉
My youngest is 3 1/2, but I’ve held onto a stash of Elbee, BSRB, Mutts, Goodmama, gDiaper (only one per brand of most of those) and bunches of Tiny Birds Organics flats, Hemparoo and Diaper Rite prefolds and both a wool and PUL cover. The fitteds and g’s more to show her what we used — especially having seen how many new cloth option came out or evolved over the few years we were diapering alone! — and the flats and prefolds as “just in case” diapers, as well (since they could be used on any infant or toddler regardless of size, should the need arise).
Your diaper stash is soooo cute!!! 🙂 Cuter than mine and I have a 3-month old! Lol. Anyhow, I can spot that you have a goodmama and a bumgenius. I can’t tell what the other brands are.
I had to come post because I felt a little embarrassed after seeing your stash and you saying you have to many… I honestly think Im addicted… I had around 30 -40 diapers :S I only have one baby to :S lol I honestly just LOVE my cloth. Now lets not even get into the amount of cloth pads I have :S Around the same Hahaha I guess from both stashes I have my favs and the ones I used when all the others are dirty or hanging to dry. 😀
