Wow, it seems I’m not the only one with a beef about the lack of rewarding customer loyalty! (see my post from last night here: http://homesteademporium.wordpress.com/2011/12/07/the-story-behind-homestead-emporium-coupon-codes/)
In my facebook feed just now, I found this link: http://digitallife.today.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/12/07/9280634-why-paypals-bad-reputation-is-bigger-than-regretsy
I especially liked the part where Winchell (founder of regretsy.com) was quoted as saying:
“The days of a company rewarding you for your loyalty are just over,”Winchell wrote in a Regretsy in an update notifying readers of PayPal’s official apology. “No one knows how to treat you anymore. No one cares.”
She pretty much summed up everything I tried to say last night, however, she did it much better in less words!
At Homestead Emporium we’re no strangers to regretsy.com (click to view one of our posts about regretsy), we’ve been featured twice, and although I understand regretsy is not exactly everyone’s cup of tea, we choose to see the humor in it all.
Since her posts, we’ve reaped benefits through new LOYAL customers who found us through her site, and have since chosen to become our customers. As always, we reward those loyal customers just like all our others!
