Yet, here we are, years later, FINALLY moving and Alesia has moved onto Ontario a week ahead of us, while we’ll be going to Saskatchewan without her.

ALLOW your passion to soar!
It is the ability to toss balance aside that allows us the freedom to live.

A moment of silence.
I’m enjoying a moment of silence.
I’ve been feeling a tad overwhelmed. There’s a TON to do around here and with the eldest two working all the time, and making time for friends and fun before we leave the Island, I find myself with way too much to do and way too little time to do it in. Yet at the same time, with each thing I cross off my ever growing list, I feel a sense of accomplishment, and excitement that we’re getting closer.
I just need a cloning device for the next couple of weeks.

Faith, friends & Bear Grylls
This morning at church I noticed a small magazine with Bear Grylls on the cover. I was kind of surprised, I wasn’t aware that he shared our faith.

I have been blessed by many heroes.
I have been blessed in this life to have been touched by many wonderful people. Heroes who I hold in my heart.
They are too numerous to name, but I felt like sharing a little today.
The silliest things can cause me to stop all that I’m doing, and reminisce about the past.
-
We are but so small.
One day, I’ll be able to share more. I really can’t wait. I don’t do well with ‘secrets’, especially good ones, but I must sit on my fingers, hold my tongue, and wait to share some other time.

From my Valentine
This year marks the second year my husband and I were apart on Valentines Day.
I woke up feeling like throwing myself a party, a pity party.
However, there’s no time for that in real life. And a real life is what we’re living, the good and the bad.
Then Graydon sent me my Valentine’s gift. A poem, for me.
If you know my husband, you know he’s not much for showy romance,
but when romance is needed, he knows what to do. Even from half a country away!Thank you dear hubby! I love you too!

Parenting teens, it’s gone viral!
isn’t that all we can ask for? Isn’t that what life, with kids, is really all about? Each one of us doing the best we know how, and when we make mistakes, making sure we don’t shirk our responsibility for those mistakes, but to take them, and learn from them, and grow.

Sunday thoughts.
You can choose to believe or disbelieve, agree or disagree with what I’m sharing, but I’m simply sharing. Nothing more, nothing less. These are my thoughts.
As I pondered this, I heard God’s soft voice whisper to me.

I should write more often about all the great things.
forgive me when I vent, whine, and even get a little b!&*y at times! I believe in keeping it REAL here on the blog. Not just in the good times, but in the bad times too!
